The Office of Pastoral Life exists to support the men and women who carry the daily joys, responsibilities, and challenges of pastoral ministry. Behind every parish, every service, every pastoral visit, and every act of spiritual care is a person — a priest, a clergy spouse, a family, or a caregiver — also in need of encouragement, guidance, and community.

OPL was created with that reality in mind. It is a ministry shaped by listening, compassion, and a deep respect for the sacred work of serving others. Through its programs and resources, OPL offers space for clergy and clergy families to be strengthened in their vocation, supported in times of difficulty, and reminded that they are not alone in the work they have been called to do.

At its heart, the Office of Pastoral Life is about care for those who care for the Church — helping clergy, clergy wives, and pastoral leaders continue their ministry with strength, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose.
