A Sisterhood 1,200 Women Strong

Clergy Wives Ministry serves approximately 1,200 women across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, spanning five time zones. Together, we form a sisterhood grounded in faith, strengthened through connection, and united by the shared experiences of clergy family life.

You Are Not Alone...

The wives of deacons and priests, together with the widows among us, are an essential part of the life of the Church.

Clergy Wives Ministry exists to ensure that every clergy wife has access to meaningful relationships, practical encouragement, and women who understand the unique joys and challenges of ministry life. When clergy wives are supported, their families, parishes, and communities are strengthened as well.

These numbers tell us something important: wherever you may be serving, you are not alone. We are here, walking together in faith.

Strengthened Through Connection

Clergy wives are often supported most meaningfully through trusted relationships with other women who understand ministry life firsthand.

Within Clergy Wives Ministry, women can build friendships, exchange wisdom, pray together, and encourage one another through every season of clergy family life. Locating this ministry within the Office of Pastoral Life ensures that the voices and experiences of clergy wives remain part of the Church’s broader commitment to healthy clergy families and flourishing parishes.

Opportunities For Support

Clergy wives participate in programs such as Thriving in Ministry, where peer learning groups provide opportunities for honest conversation, shared learning, and lasting relationships.

They are also full participants alongside their husbands in the Financial Health Initiative, including its educational cohorts, financial wellness resources, and grant opportunities.

We invite you to explore these programs and discover additional ways to connect with the support available through the Office of Pastoral Life.
